Wonderful session on Thursday night. I took Lou out for a two and a half hour walk that afternoon, a weigh in at the vets – 43 kilos – followed by a visit to my mums.
At training he was a little skittish to begin with then after I rubbed the scent off his beloved brown long haired retriever he settled down to have a well behaved lesson in the great outdoors.
Gold tests are done outdoors so we need lots of practise and, even though I say so myself, he is doing well, when his head’s in the right place. I wormed Lou the other day so take full responsibility for his dodgy tummy and my Saturday lie-in.
