Once again found out that videos no longer worked due to an out of date plugin and the need to pay for a licence. Abandoned that and the videos are now back up and running.

We've added an extra chart showing Louis' weight against how many weeks old; makes it easier to read and compare.

My Host…

Years ago, pre Louis, Sue and I spotted a plant that we liked, a chocolate vine. We bought a tiny plant that has now taken over a good portion of the garden.

This year it has given us a few disturbing looking fruit that is apparently edible. I need to check up to see what we can turn it into.

It does look like something that should belong in a Willy Wonka factory.

Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Whilst the above picture was taken Louis was very interested and he had to get involved. He didn’t know what it was that was worthy of the camera so gave it his best shot to get back in the limelight. Here it is:-

Louis versus the chocolate vine fruit

In my view, Louis won.

So slow it’s no motion

It rained and rained today. Consequently Louis has been padding round the house looking for trouble in between running around outside and bringing back in a tonne of mud.

After an hour or so of playing Louis’ favourite tug game I finally got a moment of peace. I’d tired him out… he is…

So slow it's no motion

It looks like his front end is on the move whilst his back end is taking a nap.

Louis the towel tealeaf

Every now and then Louis decides to move his blankets and towels around the place; usually outside when it’s wet. I’m not sure what’s going on his mind but it does remind me a little bit of what retrievers look like when they do their job.

He only does it rarely and I’ve never had the camera to hand even though we’ve been trying to catch the activity. Luckily Sue caught him the other day so here is the proof.

Louis the towel thief

He’s does this in a very furtive manner. If anyone can explain this behaviour then please drop us a line.
