Once again found out that videos no longer worked due to an out of date plugin and the need to pay for a licence. Abandoned that and the videos are now back up and running.

We've added an extra chart showing Louis' weight against how many weeks old; makes it easier to read and compare.

Some interesting Linnaean dog terminology.

Common denominators

It’s late evening and the lights are off in the lounge so that hound boy can sleep like an Olympic sleeping champion.

It’s just struck me that it’s very difficult to tell the difference between Louis snoring and Sue snoring. You have to be good at pinpointing which sofa the snoring is coming from.

Louis’ fixation with a local lady hound has subsided a little but he’s still whimpering. I think if he knew where we put the front door key at night he’d be out.

Sue’s last post about Louis pining for some lady-hound company is a tad understated.

There was a tell-tale puddle by a lamppost that Louis got attached to. He took some dragging away. That was followed by dribbling and gnashing of teeth; a sure sign of a lady-hound advertising.

Since getting home he’s whimpered and whimpered and camped out by the hall door. Three hours later and he’s finally stopped whimpering but he’s lying on MY SOFA looking all forlorn.

Louis mad about the girl.

Well Louis is driving me crazy, whimpering. Andy and I just arrived home from quite an exhausting walk. A girlie dog is sending my boy signals and he just won’t stop crying, sat by the door. It’s pretty intense. Louis’ last girl hunt was on our gold good citizen’s award test, he’s a step closer to having the snip (not really). Andy has got me tickets to see Cesar Millan in march; v.i.p. no less so I will ask how to distract him from this boyish behaviour.

Christmas has come early

I’ve been trying to get some more of Louis’ tug toys; our local pet stores have stopped selling them.

Ebay came to the rescue. I ordered two around half four on Friday afternoon and they came in the post Saturday morning.

Anyway, I decided to cheer Louis up by letting him have one now (we’re still working on getting him to tell the time but that’s another story). Here’s a piccie of him and his new toy.

He gets all boingy when a new toy is introduced. I should have videoed it.
