Once again found out that videos no longer worked due to an out of date plugin and the need to pay for a licence. Abandoned that and the videos are now back up and running.

We've added an extra chart showing Louis' weight against how many weeks old; makes it easier to read and compare.

Some interesting Linnaean dog terminology.

Evening routine

Well the phone blogging software seems to work so rather than wittering on about that I thought I’d describe what it’s like coming home to a waiting hound.
Usually the other two members of this household are napping when I get back but at least Louis has the decency to wake up, get up and say Hi.
As I turn off the engine his face appears at the window and you can see his tail going which sets off a rear end shimmy. I assume this means he’s pleased to see me!
When I get through the door he makes sure my face is clean and then he races off to find a toy. All the dog training programmes and books say you should ignore your dog. I can see where they are coming from but I like the way we behave; I’m sure Louis does too.

Well, now it’s my turn

I’m trying some other software to see if it’s easier to post a blog entry rather than use the phone’s web browser.
This is wordmobi. Only problem so far is that the page goes to pot when you go to landscape mode.
Louis is asleep and Suzy continues to pester me with questions about the phone.

Louis knows the way

Living in suburbia I try and make Louis’ walks as interesting as I can. We trudge round Bramhall for a couple of hours a day, every day.

Louis has his favorite walks and lets me know by walking behind me to slow me down and then he gives me the look. If I have┬átime we go his way, his tail wags and he’s happy as he’s got his own way.

Louis is a creature of habit, in the morning off lead it’s a loop by the river down in the valley interspersed with the odd break to chase a fox.
