Arrived home from the States to a week’s worth of face licking from Louis so can give today’s wash a miss (only kidding). Sue’s pleased with my choice of stuff for her; or is she just being polite?
I have ventured on the scales and it looks like I have had a good week; gaining half a stone! So it’s back to being good for while until I lose it.
The advice in the instruction manual for a malfunctioning fridge was, surprise, surprise – turn it off and on. However this didn’t work so it was back to basics. I traced it to the thermostat as it would start when that was shorted. Quick trip to a local bits shop and £20 later the fridge is up and running again so (if it continues to work okay) I’ve saved a few hundred quid. Sue was right; it probably was all the jellies as the exposed end of the thermostat was rusty.
