Once again found out that videos no longer worked due to an out of date plugin and the need to pay for a licence. Abandoned that and the videos are now back up and running.

We've added an extra chart showing Louis' weight against how many weeks old; makes it easier to read and compare.

Some interesting Linnaean dog terminology.

Control of the blog

Andy away, he left us this morning after a wonderful walk with Louis and a very well cooked sausage sandwich.

Louis is fast asleep on his sofa, we miss the chaos Andy brings to our happy little home. This week is going to drag; I will amuse us, but I am finding it hard, Louis just isn’t as pesty as his dad.

Louis’ trainer called to say he has a chance to redeem himself on Tuesday as we can’t have the training hall on Thursday.  I do hope Louis thinks with his head and gets some well needed training in, his test is on the 19th June.

We walked for miles today up to Cheadle Hulme and through Bramhall park stopping off at my mums for a well deserved cup of tea and a little sympathy.  Louis got spoilt too, he had half my salmon buttie.

I couldn’t walk down story-ville this evening as I’m in the first phase of missing Andy. Andy just phoned, he’s in Chicago and just about to get on to his next flight. Hurry home, your boy and I are c–p without you.

My blog will be more Louis orientated tomorrow as  I will have adjusted to single life again.

He’s just a hound…

Louis was at training last night and there was a lady dog who he was rather taken with. This involved lots of sniffing and, if he was separated from her, lots of howling. Poor lad. Sue brought him home early. He went from top of the class to bottom in just a few minutes!

He’s now helping Sue out with her addiction to crisps by stealing them off her.

I’m off to the States tomorrow. Another week away from home. I don’t think Louis has sussed that out yet.

Andy reunited with Louis, peace at last.

Louis is a changed boy, calm, cuddly and settled as his dads’ home. It really must be difficult for dogs to understand when one of his pack disappears. Andy is making up for lost time and has dutifully played and walked the dog, they even came to meet me at work. Louis is fast asleep and Andy is printing some photos giving me a chance to blog. I’ll have to sign off as Andy wants to hog his computer again.

Here’s a quick pic of Louis on the move. It’s really difficult capturing him properly as our little camera has considerable shutter lag so it’s hit and miss whether he’s fully in the frame or you’re just left with an inch or so of tail and a back paw. We’ve got another digital camera so I might try that next week.
