Once again found out that videos no longer worked due to an out of date plugin and the need to pay for a licence. Abandoned that and the videos are now back up and running.
We've added an extra chart showing Louis' weight against how many weeks old; makes it easier to read and compare.

Posted by suzy at 3:24 pm I can report walking has been a nightmare; the ice has been so bad I resorted to crawling on all fours to get home, luckily it was before all my neighbours got up.
Andy has been great, he cleared the pavements and a third of our road. I think he wants to work extra Christmas pounds off.
Andy has walked the dog for the last two days as I’m a tad scared and slip slide and scream far too much. I’ve managed a little better today walking on the road. I will be so happy to feel safe out there again. I will learn how to put photos on the blog today, possibly drive Andy mad in the process.
Posted by louis at 3:19 pm Sharon bought Louis a Christmas pressie, a stocking selection of doggie treats.
Louis is still struggling with the concept of dates so he had his head in the bag straightaway.
He’s already had some turkey and cranberry biscuit bones and is looking for more.
 Louis trying to look nonchalant
As you can see he’s trying his best not to look too interested in the treats but the fact that he has camped out just one foot away from them kind of gives the game away. I don’t fancy his chances in a game of poker.
Posted by louis at 9:07 pm We’ve had a blast of cold weather for the last few days plus a weekend of snow. Louis has been catching snowflakes in his mouth in the back garden.
It has been around -5oC at night which makes the morning walk with Louis particularly bracing!
 Christmas lights and snow
Here’s a pic of the house with our Xmas lights on; I haven’t mastered taking photos in the dark – this was with the flash. My hands are not steady enough to get a shake-free pic if I go for a long exposure.
Posted by suzy at 2:56 pm One of the many joys of owning a dog is getting out in all weathers. Louis loves the cold, sniffing occupies him. We walked past all the posh houses (very few decorations up), past the golf club, past bramhall park and then home. It just started snowing which is still a novelty to Louis. Several dogs out today all very well behaved. One lady had two huskies and they were content to walk with her, no dragging at all. We arrived home to guests Carole and Phil, Louis was in his element he said hello very nicely had his dinner then surfed the table for minced pies. I can hear a contented little pooch in his bed charging up for his third and final walk.
