Fantastic day, Louis was on form from 5am till home time 8pm. The way he jumps into the car to go showing and settles for the journey makes me sure he loves his trips out. Chris and the boy worked so well together; they glide when Louis is in the ring. He gained a first under Jack in limit dog which means a lot to me because the guy has been in Ridgebacks forever. The show was at Melvern, quite a way from Manchester. It’s a great show centre, you have the hills in the background and on a clear day it’s beautiful. Louis went to bed as soon as we got in, he was pooped. I phoned his dad in Japan and he, as usual, was so proud of his boy. He’s been flashing Louis’ photos (I don’t think he even takes one of me) to all his work buddies. Carole Anne took a wonderful photo of Louis at the Midland and Northern show so when Andy comes home I’ll get him to scan it and put it on this blog – thank you Carole, you captured him in his best pose.
